Busy Times

Busy, busy times. But I haven’t forgotten you, dear Blog. I am currently working on two propositions, that will hopefully be passed by the regional board of my political party this coming Tuesday. Finishing all the wording, writing speeches ++. I will tell you more about them after the meeting, and hopefully after it’s passed.

The first document is seeking to change the Norwegian Constitution, changing the way we look at citizenship of kids born in this country, by illegal immigrants.

The second document is on an issue we have in Europe concerning the Schengen-area and its tourist visa policy. I want to implement a mandatory identification check when crossing the border from one Schengen country to another.

This Thursday, May 17, is the Norwegian Constitution Day, and an official holiday which means no work for me. May 17 is also the deadline for the challenge to have Karlene flying in to your town! Check out this link and see how to participate!
